Method pregnancy shoot
A pregnancy shoot is preferably done between the 30th and 34th week of pregnancy, but can also take place a little later. Please contact me first to see if there is still space. If you want, you can come and meet me in the studio first. I’ll send you the link to the Booking Form or you can fill it out in the studio. There are two payment times at Sophie Baby Photography: after booking and any upgrades and wall-art you pay during the ordering appointment. Please note that the entire maternity shoot must be paid in advance through a payment request. Only then is your booking complete. The maternity shoot takes place in my photo studio in Eindhoven. After the shoot I will prepare a gallery of 20 edited photos and a digital sample album sample album within 2 weeks. During the ordering appointment at my studio you choose your photos and which album and possibly wall-art suits you best. Sophie Baby Photography is VAT exempt.

The phone call and booking
If you indicate your interest in a maternity shoot, I always give you a call. This way I can answer all your questions and provide the necessary information. Then you will receive an app with the link to the Booking Form. Here you can enter all your details and information about the pregnancy. You can also specify your top 3 photos and colors. If the need is there, you can also come to the studio to meet first, there you can book right away to reserve your spot. Once I have received the booking form I will send you an invoice with a payment request. Then we will plan the shoot right away. If the shoot is paid, the booking is complete and I will send you the link to the Information Letter with the latest tips and tricks. Do you book well in advance? That’s nice, because that gives me time to make something creative out of it.
The styling
First, I look at which backgrounds I will build, depending on your preference. You can indicate this on the booking form. There is a client closet available for you to choose from. If you need advice I’ll be happy to help! Next comes the styling and getting ready. It’s up to me to make sure there are as many different photos as possible. That way I have the best chance of making you happy with the photos! When the styling is done, I put everything together. That way we can move quickly later.
The day of the shoot
In total a pregnancy shoot takes about 1.5 hours. Before the shoot most women put on a nice make-up. If you like you can go to the hairdresser beforehand. Did you know that there are several dresses and shawls that you can use during your pregnancy? From size XS to XXL, I have plenty of choice. During the maternity shoot we do a number of clothing changes, usually 4. With many of the dresses and shawls I also have matching flowers. During the shoot we take plenty of time to drink something and take a break during the shoot. A pregnant belly can be quite heavy, I know from experience 😉
Posing
During the pregnancy shoot in Eindhoven I will see how I can pose you as beautiful as possible. Are you thinking: I do not know how to pose? That is very normal. Don’t worry, I am going to make sure you feel comfortable. In addition, I will help you with posing by doing all the poses with you and for you. Does your partner want to be in the picture too? Great, because then we’ll get even more variety in the gallery later. Do you have a strong preference for a certain color? You can indicate that on the booking form and I will take that into account.
Clearing again
When we have enough pictures of your pregnant, the photo shoot is over. You can put on your own clothes and go home. For me it only begins now: first I clean up the studio. Often this includes vacuuming. Then I select the photos that I will edit.
The order appointment
After the maternity shoot, I start editing the photos and making the digital version of the album and something beautiful for on the wall. When it is ready, I send a message to schedule the ordering appointment. During the ordering appointment when I take the photos, the digital version of the album and the wall art. This is the time to choose which memory suits you best.
